Prophetic Tabernacle
“And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.”
Zechariah 14:16
Everything has a divine order. Just as each of the Spring Feasts contained the prophetic message of God’s redemptive plan for mankind, each of the Fall Feasts contain a prophetic message as well. The Jewish High Holy Days start with Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets) which speaks of a proclamation, of God blowing His trumpet, announcing His return and the rapture of His bride. It is followed by Yom Kippur / Day of Atonement which will proclaim a day of judgment. Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) begins right after Yom Kippur and comes to announce the return of Jesus to reign over the earth.
The Bible paints a glorious future for those who call on the name of the Lord, but there will be a day of terror for those who have come against His people and His land. God will deal harshly with the nations that had gathered against Israel. Great battles will be fought and won in the name of the Lord and the enemy will be defeated. After this event, all the nations that came to fight Israel will then come to Jerusalem to fulfill the Feast of Tabernacles and worship Jesus as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
The prophetic message of Sukkot / Feast of Tabernacles is the millennial kingdom of God. When looking at the Books of Daniel, Zechariah and Revelations, we see that the Feast of Tabernacles prophetically proclaims the kingdom of God to the earth. Jesus will return and to stand with His feet on the Mount of Olives on that day. After which He will pass through the valley entering the ancient gates of Jerusalem as the King of Kings, establishing His reign over the whole world.
The Bible tells us that in the end times, ALL the nations of the earth will rise up against Israel, but God will come and save Israel and establish His kingdom in Jerusalem over all the nations. Can you imagine? YOUR nation, as well as every nation will come to Jerusalem to stand before our Great King Yeshua and worship Him during the Feast of Tabernacles!
Today is the day of preparation. We are being prepared for the great Feast of Tabernacles that is coming when Jesus establishes His Kingdom on earth from Jerusalem. The day is quickly approaching when we will all be gathered in Jerusalem to celebrate His glory during the Feast of Tabernacles. What a divine message! Jesus is going to reign over all the nations, and we will be there to worship Him together as our eternal Tabernacle.
God gave the people of Israel the wonderful feast day of Sukkot about 3200 years ago, and they still celebrate it faithfully each year, just as God commanded. This is a time devoted to the Lord, through prayer, blessings, and celebrations.
“For seven days celebrate the festival to the LORD your God at the place the LORD will choose. For the LORD your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete.”
Deuteronomy 16:15
God gave a solid promise here! He said that we will celebrate the feast of Tabernacles with an abundance of joy because God will bless our harvest and all the work of our hands. He blesses us today for us to be a blessing to others. We are the earthy vessel through which His goodness flows.
However, there are many struggling in these times to see His goodness. Their tables are empty and they are unable to celebrate this festival that God has given them. For many of the new Olim (immigrants) this is their first celebration of this feast in Israel. We want them to know the goodness of God and His blessings, don’t you?
We are all part of God’s prophecy for Israel. He tells us if we will bless Israel, He will bless us (Gen 12:3). His people are being called back to the Land to set the stage for the prophecy in Zachariah. Help be a part of His great plan to assemble His people for the blessed day when Jesus returns to “tabernacle” with His people. What a glorious day that will be!
