This week we mark a very joyful milestone here at Beit Hallel Congregation. We are celebrating our 17th anniversary since BH was first founded in 2005.
Over 17 years ago, as I was driving to a home study I was teaching in Ashdod, God stopped me in my tracks and showed me the vision that became the driving force behind everything we have done for the past nearly two decades.
Beit Hallel was born out of God’s love for His people in this area, seeing the great spiritual need, with not a single Hebrew-speaking congregation in a city so big and populated, the Lord showed me a small glimpse of what He was preparing here… and never could I have imagined it would be so much bigger than what I initially thought it would be.
It has been the first 17 years of an incredible journey, letting our Lord lead the way and pave the path.
Salvations, healings, miracles, deliverances, victories, breakthroughs – Everything came hand in hand with challenges and obstacles, all of which God has been faithful to carry us through, deliver us and grant us victory. The opposition and persecutions we have faced over the years pale in comparison to the greatness of God, the power of the Holy Spirit manifested in our daily lives, our ministry, congregation, outreaches, projects.
Beit Hallel has always been about people. Our work was always focused and geared towards our community, on reaching the lost, helping those in need; showing God’s love in action.
There’s so much more to come, so much more that God has entrusted us with. Our only goal is to be faithful in the tasks at hand.
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.
The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
1 Timothy 1:12, 14
We’re grateful for your love, support, prayers, for your kind and encouraging words; for being our sojourners, friends, and allies. Your heart for Israel and support of this nation through our work have been truly invaluable.
Our part is to be faithful to Yeshua’s call and His vision. His part is to lead us through and enable us to bear good fruit for His Kingdom and for His glory.
