It has been 40 days after Passover, the death and resurrection of Jesus, and it is 10 days before Shavuot (Pentecost) — Feast of Harvest. It is the day when Yeshua gathered His disciples on the Mount of Olive where He gave them the Great Commission to become His witnesses in this world and told them about the coming outpouring of the Holy Spirit which will equip them supernaturally to carry the gospel to the ends of the earth. Jesus left us with every possible gift from the Father before he ascended to sit at the right hand of God.
