The incoming wave of Ukrainian refugees has not let up and it has been ongoing work trying to assist as many families as we can, providing them with crucial basic essentials; whether it’s food packets, clothing items, blankets, kitchen supplies, beds, mattresses, furniture, baby items, medical equipment, etc.
The work is overwhelming and the challenges are great, however, it is thanks to you and your generous support of these people that we are able to continue working and helping them.
While the humanitarian crisis keeps growing, I have witnessed firsthand how much is done alongside the Ukrainian border for refugees. European countries have been amazing at standing up and delivering aid and help in time of need to Ukrainian refugees.
However, here in Israel, where refugees have continued to arrive, our work and needs are only growing. Due to the large influx of people, we are running out of supplies faster than we can replenish them. Resources are still the number 1 thing that is needed in order to continue replenishing our stock of the aid we have been distributing among refugee families.
It is an ongoing effort, with no timeline of when this might end, as the humanitarian crisis only keeps growing and as believers, we are called to stand up and continue our humanitarian mission for as long as it takes.
