We organized a two day Purim celebrations for 500 families and kids, and it was such a beautiful time for these families, as it was for us to be able to organize it.
There were food parcels organized for the families, and also special gifts for kids.
Our youth was in charge of the festive program, they had organized a special skit for Purim based on the biblical story of queen Esther. They also dressed up as clowns and really made sure the children had an amazing time.
Most of the people have no one int he country, no friends or relatives. They get basic social help from the government and are left alone. Our contact with them is so crucial and important to them, to reach a warm helping hand, to show them there are people who care.
Their response to that is so precious that it cannot help but motivate us to continue doing what we do.
