Since seeing how powerful God has been moving during our Gospel outreach projects over the past few years, we’ve continuously been looking for new and creative ways to reach the people of Israel with the Gospel in impacting and life-changing ways.
At the end of the day, we want people to not only hear the Gospel but also to receive it into their hearts. For that purpose, we’ve created a Biblical Excursions initiative, which is totally focused on evangelism through exposing people to the sites where Jesus walked and talked.
We believe that when you walk in the footsteps of Jesus and read the Bible in the very same places where it happened, that it changes people’s hearts and makes them more susceptible to the promptings and revelation of the Holy Spirit.
And so, every month we gather a group of non-believers for an exciting day of sight-seeing, along with a professional tour guide, to visit places of great Biblical significance. The stage is then set to teach our tour participants the historical significance of that particular site, along with the Biblical significance and what Jesus had accomplished there.
We’ve seen that when you make people’s experience of Israel’s Biblical sites more intimate and personal, people are more susceptible to the Gospel message and start asking questions about Jesus and God’s plan of redemption for mankind. We also always take time to pray for people’s needs in these places, and as a result, we’ve seen some amazing healings and testimonies of breakthroughs.
This past month we took a group of about 50 non-believers on an excursion to some of the most breath-taking and impacting sites in Jerusalem, and these dear ones saw the Gospel come alive before their very eyes. They also got to witness how Bible history unfolded in these places, as well as how Jesus served as the culmination of centuries of prophecies during His time on earth. The Gospel came alive to these precious souls as never before, and they will never be the same again!
Please pray with us that the seeds that were planted in the hearts of all the participants of our Bible excursions will come to fruition and that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus, as we continue to walk with them, minister unto them, and sowing the Word of God their lives.
“And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ…”
