According to Exodus 12:1-2, the Jewish new year starts on the 1st of Nisan, which is called: “the beginning of months”. Interestingly enough, God commanded each family to select a lamb on the tenth of Nisan, which will be slaughtered on the 14th of Nisan and will serve as a Passover sacrificial lamb, because that very night is when the whole house of Israel will celebrate Passover. Watch Pastor Israel as he dives into the scriptures that speak of the true Jewish new year according to God’s commands.
