There’s a lot of hurting people, many of them are innocent children that are eager to receive a caring smile, a loving hand, a prayer, an encouragement while they are at the hospital fighting battles that no child should ever face.
Every month our youth stocks up on soft toys, candy and our finest smiles and go to visit these precious children at the hospital. What a beautiful sights to see their faces light up when we come.
As much as it wonderful for the children to receive this outpouring of love, the youth is always deeply touched by these visits. The opportunity to bring some light to those in need, especially to children, really helps them develop a special kind of sensitivity and leaves them excited and eager to go back for more visits.
We are here to be that smile, that helping hand, that extension of your love.
Your generosity, your prayers and care make a world of difference for the children we come in contact with.
It is an amazing experience for our young people, who really embrace the biblical principle of “it is more blessed to give than to receive” and they get to see this principle in action.
