What did Yeshua teach in the Temple during Hanukkah

It was now winter, and Jesus was in Jerusalem at the time of Hanukkah, the Festival of Dedication.

John 10:22

When Yeshua came to Jerusalem to celebrate Hanukkah, Feast of Dedication, he taught some powerful messages. One of his most poignant ones was when he was approached by the Jews and asked in John 10:24:

How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.

Yeshua’s response was amazing:

I told you and you do not believe.

He never kept His divinity a secret, Yeshua always was clear about who He was. Those who chose not to believe it insisted on hearing what they wanted to hear. But His message does not change to suit our needs, or what we want to hear. His message was clear and is changing people’s lives to this day, He said in John 10:27-28

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me, and I give them eternal life and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

When we believed in Him, Yeshua gave us the supernatural ability to hear His voice. These words were spoken by Yeshua during the feast of Hanukkah in Jerusalem, and to this day thanks to the Holy Spirit we can hear the voice of the Lord. The message Yeshua delivered was so powerful, cutting, and bold that those that didn’t believe Him tried to stone Him, during Hanukkah celebrations! Now, two thousand years later, we come to Jerusalem to rejoice with the nation of Israel and celebrate Hanukkah together, especially Hanukkah in light of Yeshua’s teachings and messages He powerfully delivered during this Feast of Lights being Himself our Light.
