A Story Only God Could Write:
Inspiring Testimonies from Twenty-One Years of Ministry in Israel

“The one who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.”

1 Thessalonians 5:24

Twenty-one years can pass in the blink of an eye. As we reflect on this special milestone, our hearts are filled with gratitude—not simply for the years behind us, but for the countless lives God has touched through the Gospel in Israel.

When we look back, we don’t first think about buildings, programs, or milestones. We remember faces. Stories. Prayers that were answered. Lives transformed by the faithfulness of God.

We remember the challenges the Lord carried us through, the doors He opened, the people He brought across our path, and the countless moments when His faithfulness became unmistakably real. Looking back now, we can say with confidence that every sacrifice, every challenge, and every step of faith has been worth it because each one has helped another person encounter the hope of Yeshua.

Those transformed lives are the true story of these past twenty-one years.

Every testimony is different. Some begin in a synagogue. Others in a Muslim home. Some begin in the middle of war, while others start with a simple invitation from a friend. Yet every story leads to the same destination—a life transformed through faith in Yeshua the Messiah.

One of those stories belongs to Anwar, who was raised in a Muslim family in the Bedouin city of Rahat in the Negev Desert. Through his wife’s faith, he was introduced to a Messianic congregation, where he encountered not only the message of Yeshua but also a community that patiently walked beside him, answered his questions, and welcomed him with open arms. Today he speaks with joy about living in the grace of Jesus Christ and says he has found brothers and sisters who have become family.

Stories like Anwar’s remind us that the Gospel knows no cultural or ethnic boundaries. God continues to draw people from every background to Himself, often in ways no one could have anticipated. Over the years, we have watched Him build one spiritual family from people whose paths might never otherwise have crossed.

For Tima, an eighteen-year-old soldier serving in the Israel Defense Forces, faith became more than a belief—it became a place where she could truly belong. “I can come just as I am,” she shares. “I don’t have to wear a mask or pretend to be someone I’m not.” In a generation searching for hope and authenticity, she discovered genuine friendship, acceptance, and a growing relationship with the Lord.

While some testimonies begin later in life, others are being written from childhood. One of our greatest joys has been watching young believers grow into mature disciples who are beginning to influence the next generation.

Alleli has grown up surrounded by worship, discipleship, and a community of believers who have encouraged her to deepen her faith. Today she speaks with excitement about serving God and growing in her relationship with Him. Her story reminds us why investing in young people today is helping prepare tomorrow’s leaders for the Body of Messiah in Israel.

God’s work also has a way of multiplying.

A single conversation can lead to a Bible study. A Bible study can become a congregation. One transformed life often becomes the beginning of many more.

Pastor Eitan remembers how ministry in Ashkelon and Kiryat Gat began with simple discipleship groups meeting in people’s homes. One life became two. Two became many. Today those congregations continue proclaiming the Gospel, discipling believers, serving their communities through humanitarian outreach, and raising up new leaders who are sharing the hope of Yeshua throughout southern Israel.

Not every testimony begins with joy. Natalia and her family arrived in Israel after fleeing the war in Ukraine, carrying uncertainty, grief, and questions about the future. Through the love of believers, they found more than practical help—they found hope, friendship, and a spiritual family. Today they are not only rebuilding their lives but also serving others and encouraging those who are beginning similar journeys.

Others have come from across the world. Daneen moved from Minnesota after marrying and settling in Israel. She describes discovering a joyful freedom in worship and a diverse community united by faith in Yeshua. What touched her most was seeing Jewish people, Arabs, and believers from many nations worshipping the same Savior together as one family.

Yaacov’s testimony reflects the journey of many Jewish people. Raised in Israel and familiar with synagogue life, he always sensed something was missing. Finding Yeshua gave his life the meaning he had been searching for, and becoming part of a community of believers allowed his faith to take root and flourish.

As different as these stories are, they all proclaim the same message: God is still at work in Israel.

He is drawing Jewish people and Arabs, native-born Israelis and new immigrants, soldiers, young people, families, and seekers from every background to Himself. He is building His Kingdom one life at a time, often in quiet ways the world never sees.

Looking back over twenty-one years, we are humbled by what the Lord has done. Yet we also know these testimonies represent only a small glimpse of the thousands of conversations, prayers, discipleship meetings, humanitarian outreaches, Bible studies, and quiet acts of faithfulness that God has used to accomplish His purposes.

Across Israel, there are still countless people who have never met a follower of Yeshua or heard a clear presentation of the Gospel. That is why our calling remains unchanged. We remain committed to proclaiming the Good News, making disciples, strengthening local congregations, investing in the next generation, and demonstrating the love of Messiah through both word and action.

Every person featured here reminds us that the Gospel is not merely changing opinions—it is changing lives. Behind every testimony is a faithful God who continues calling people to Himself throughout the Land of Israel.

Thank you for standing with us. Your prayers, generosity, and faithful partnership are helping make stories like these possible. Together, we are witnessing God write a story that only He could write, and we believe many more lives across Israel will encounter the hope of Yeshua in the years ahead.
