One People, One Promise, One Purpose

At the core of Voice of Judah Israel’s mission lies a profound yet simple phrase:
One People, One Promise, One Purpose.”

This tagline is more than a slogan; it encapsulates the essence of our work, beliefs, and vision for the people of Israel and the world. As a not-for-profit organization dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, planting congregations, and helping the needy in Israel, we are driven by a deep commitment to fulfilling God’s promise to His people, one life at a time.

Understanding the fullness of Gods Promise

The promise we refer to is rooted in the Biblical covenant God made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to make them a great nation forever. This promise extends beyond the Jewish people to include Gentiles who have given their hearts to Jesus, embracing them as part of God’s family. It serves as a reminder of our mission’s foundation and the urgency of our work in Israel, a nation that, despite being the cradle of Christianity, remains one of the least evangelized countries in the world.

Many view Israel as a Christian nation, but the reality is far from it. While Christians flock to Israel to visit Biblical Holy Sites, few recognize the profound need for the Gospel’s message. Our work at Voice of Judah Israel in Israel, through Beit Hallel, is not just about supporting a cause; it’s about being part of a divine plan to bring hope, salvation, and transformation to the lives of all Israelis.

One People: United in Faith

The concept of “One People” underscores our belief in the unity of all believers, both Jewish and Gentile, under the umbrella of God’s promise. As Paul wrote in Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.” This verse reminds us that the Gospel is for all people, regardless of their background, starting with the Jews, and that we are all united in our faith. Our mission to share the Gospel with every Israeli is rooted in this understanding, recognizing that we are all part of God’s family.

One Promise: A Covenant of Love

The promise of God to His people is a thread that weaves through the entirety of scripture, from the Old Testament to the New. In Isaiah 54:2, we read, “Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, do not spare them; Lengthen your ropes And strengthen your pegs, says the Lord”. This verse speaks of enlarging our tents, symbolizing the growth of the Church through the planting of new congregations. We are committed to seeing this promise fulfilled as we plant Congregations (churches) and share the Gospel with all Israelis.

Furthermore, Isaiah 40:1 reminds us of the importance of comforting God’s people, meeting their physical needs as we minister to their spiritual well-being. “Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.” This promise guides our efforts to care for the needy in Israel, demonstrating the love of Messiah in practical ways.

One Purpose: Fulfilling the Great Commission

Our purpose is clear: to fulfill God’s promise to His people by proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, planting congregations, and helping the needy. Matthew 28:19-20 provides the blueprint for our discipleship efforts, as Jesus commands us, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” We are committed to teaching believers to obey all that Jesus has commanded, equipping them to live out their faith in Israel. Moreover, Romans 15:26-27 highlights the critical role of Gentile believers in supporting the Jewish people financially, a call we take seriously as we invite partners to join us in this work. “For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the Lord’s people in Jerusalem. They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings.” Your support and partnership are invaluable as we work to fulfill this purpose.
