A Place of Shelter

In the middle of the night in Israel, the constant blare of sirens and missiles overhead is a reality.

Israelis wish it was a bad dream they could wake up from. This is the price to pay to stand up to Iran and a nuclear threat for not only Israel, but for much of the world. “Death to Israel” and “Death to the US” are threats that could no longer be ignored.

Israel took necessary action and now they are under constant retaliatory attack.

The Least We Can Do

For Christians, we are in debt to Israel in ways we could never possibly repay. Without the Jewish people, we would not have our Messiah and Lord we have in order to live in true freedom. With this war and their bravery, we also get to enjoy the large span of time this has set Iran back on the nuclear front. Israel erased the imminent threat, and now they are paying for this brave action. The least we, as North American Christians, can do is stand with and support Israel, however we can. Voice of Judah Israel has a front row seat, and with your partnership with our ministry, so do you. They will know the love of God through you.

Here is how you can help.

We are making every effort to make the long nights of attacks as comfortable as possible. For many, our ministry’s bomb shelter is a means of survival. When the sirens blare, which is frequent, Israelis have mere seconds to get to a shelter. Those fleeting seconds can be the difference between life and death.

For the most vulnerable, the elderly and a young family waking children, they would never get to a shelter in time during the night. This results in the bomb shelter, intended to be a short-term solution, becoming a second home.

This means sleeping at night in our shelters is the safest place for them to be.

Second Home

The first night that Israelis gathered in VOJI’s shelter, our team provided a peaceful worship experience. Many told our team after how appreciative they were. They felt a peace in the midst of a dark night in the Holy Land’s history. They are also provided with water, snacks, bathroom access, and other basic necessities. This is their second home right now.

One family, Isabelle and her parents, would be in desperate crisis without our ministry’s bomb shelter and compassionate care. Their appreciation for us, including your support, can’t be overstated. Isabelle’s parents left the country for a short trip before this war started. She has caretakers to help during the day, but at night our shelter is her home. It’s a safe place to sleep, and her parents know she will not be harmed at night when the relentless sirens sound and missiles cover the skies

The Time is Now

This is urgent! Our ministry needs help now! The needs are already as endless as the dangers in the sky and sirens blaring.

With your ongoing partnership, we are prepared to meet the relentless needs in Israel and for her people.

We are providing food care packages and ways to cool many bomb shelters during the relentless summer heat. There are many more ways we will be making shelter life a bit more comfortable in the coming weeks. Give your best gift today to improve this comfort for those we serve. In the Bible, God commands us to stand with Israel. There is no better time than now.

Please join us in helping His people in His Land. We need you. They need you. God will use you.

Thank you.
