A Season of Hope: Our Year-End Mission to Bless Israel

As we enter the final months of 2026, I want to share something that has been on my heart. Here in Israel, we have seen the Lord’s faithfulness throughout a year filled with challenges, uncertainty, and many wonderful opportunities to serve Him. And now, as we look toward the winter and holiday season, I believe He is calling us to continue this work with renewed faith and expectation.

That’s why we’re launching our special year-end campaign through Voice of Judah Israel, bringing together several important projects to help families in need, share the Gospel of Jesus, and strengthen new believers across Israel.

There is much we want to accomplish before the year ends, and I want to personally invite you to be part of this special effort.

Bringing Warmth and Encouragement to Families in Need

A Season of Hope: Our Year-End Mission to Bless Israel

When you live in Israel and meet people who are struggling, you begin to understand how difficult everyday life can be for some families. I’ve met elderly Holocaust survivors who are living on very little, new immigrants trying to find their feet in a new country, and parents who are worried about how they will provide even the most basic necessities for their children.

And as winter approaches, these challenges become even greater.

Through our humanitarian projects, we’re preparing to continue providing food packages, warm clothing, blankets, and other essential supplies to vulnerable families. We also want to bring some joy to children and their parents through special Hanukkah and Christmas activities, gifts, and family gatherings.

For a family that is struggling, receiving a package of groceries or something warm for the winter can mean so much. It helps ease a very real burden, and it reminds them that they haven’t been forgotten.

I’m deeply thankful that, through the generosity of our friends and partners, we can continue showing practical love and care to people who need it.

The People of Israel Need to Hear About Jesus

A Season of Hope: Our Year-End Mission to Bless Israel

Another important part of our year-end vision is continuing to reach Israelis with the Good News of Jesus.

You know, one of the things that encourages me most is meeting Jewish people who are beginning to ask questions about their Messiah. Some have never really heard the Gospel explained to them. Others have been searching for years, reading the Scriptures and wondering what God has planned for their lives.

And when we have an opportunity to sit with someone, open the Bible, and share about Jesus, it is a precious moment.

Throughout 2026, our teams have continued reaching people through evangelistic gatherings, personal conversations, and Bible studies. We’ve seen people respond to the Gospel, and we’ve also seen how important it is to remain close to them afterward.

That’s why our plans for the coming season include further evangelistic outreach in Ashdod, Ashkelon, Jerusalem, and other cities across Israel.

But we also want to help those who have already come to faith. New believers need encouragement, sound biblical teaching, and a community where they can grow spiritually.

Our completed Evangelism and Discipleship Center in Ashdod, together with our local congregations and follow-up teams, gives us important opportunities to continue this work.

I believe the Lord has opened these doors for a purpose, and we want to be faithful with every opportunity He gives us.

There Is Still Much Work Ahead

A Season of Hope: Our Year-End Mission to Bless Israel

Sometimes, when I think about everything that has happened in Israel over the past few years, I can understand why people become tired or discouraged. There has been so much uncertainty, and many families are still carrying the consequences of these difficult times.

But the Word of God gives us a wonderful encouragement in Galatians 6:9:

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

I love this Scripture because it reminds us to remain faithful, even when the work is difficult and the needs around us seem so great.

When I look at the people we’ve been able to serve this year, and the Israelis who have heard the Gospel and begun growing in their faith, I’m reminded that every effort matters.

And I believe there are still many precious opportunities ahead of us.

We want to enter this winter season ready to care for families who need assistance, encourage children during the holidays, continue sharing Jesus with the Jewish people, and help new believers become strong disciples.

These are the projects at the heart of our year-end campaign.

Will You Help Us Finish 2026 Strong?

As we prepare for these special year-end projects, I want to ask you to stand with us.

First of all, please pray for Israel and for the people we will be serving in the coming weeks. Pray for elderly people who are struggling, for families facing financial difficulties, and for the children we hope to bless during Hanukkah and Christmas.

Please also pray for our evangelism and discipleship teams. Pray that the Lord will open hearts to the Gospel and that many Jewish people will come to know Jesus as their Messiah.

And if the Lord puts it on your heart to make a special year-end gift through Voice of Judah Israel, I would be truly grateful. Your generosity will help us move forward with these projects and continue serving people across Israel.

We are still bringing together the details of the different activities, but we know the needs are great, and we want to be ready for the opportunities the Lord places before us.

Thank you for your faithful prayers, your generosity, and your love for Israel. It means so much to me to know that we have friends like you standing with us.

May the Lord bless you and your family, and may He continue to use us together for His glory and for the salvation of Israel.

With love and blessings from Israel,
Pastor Israel Pochtar
