Ashkelon is a biblical city off the coast of the Mediterranean, rich with history, prophecy, and biblical promises. It also lies about 5 miles north of the border with Gaza, which means it is the first major city targeted by rockets from Gaza. During the recent week of Passover alone, this city was hit by two missiles, with significant property damage reported.
As a growing city that is expanding, building, and receiving a large influx of new immigrants, we feel God has an incredible plan for this city. Our job is to be obedient and build a house of worship for Him in Ashkelon.
Finding a property for a Christian organization in Israel can be very challenging. Most realtors will not work with us or even take our calls. But, against all odds, God gave us the victory and provided the perfect building for our growing Ashkelon congregation.
We are happy to report that we have officially secured the building and signed the lease. Renovations have begun for this new facility that will provide a solution for our growing flock in Ashkelon. The new building will have a secure place of worship, even if there are sirens and rocket fire. We will also finally have enough space to designate rooms for children’s ministry. Praise the Lord!
Would you be a part of that house of worship in Ashkelon and help us build it by supporting the freshly started renovation work?
This is an opportunity to be a part of something great that lays the foundation for the Lord’s harvest in Israel’s Ashkelon.
