An upcoming project I’m personally passionate and excited about is our evangelism campaign for the Jewish Feasts that will take place in October in the biblical city of Be’er Sheva.
Many years ago, I started my ministry as an evangelist on the streets of Tel Aviv, where I would spend endless days reaching out to people passing by, approaching anyone who I hoped would listen. If anybody tells you being a street preacher is easy, obviously, that person has never tried to be one. It was a challenging time. Open hearts and ears were not common among Israelis back then. However, God promised He would save the nation, and He has been faithful to His word.
So much has changed over the years through the work of ministries like Beit Hallel. Israel’s fields have seen a lot of plowing, and her people’s hearts are more open than ever. We cannot let this moment pass us by without turning into “fishers of men” and reaching Israel with the Gospel of Yeshua.
We are looking to bring over 400 people who will hear the gospel for the first time in their lives, to this place rich with biblical history. This is the first evangelism event that will be held in Be’er Sheva, which is incredibly meaningful in so many ways.
Be’er Sheva, the city where Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob lived, prayed, and witnessed blessings and miracles of God! The city where Abraham built one of the four Altars to dedicate the land and people of Israel to God!
It was from Be’er Sheva that Abraham went to Mt. Moriah to offer His son Isaac as a sacrifice in a test of obedience to God (Mt. Moriah is today’s Temple Mount in Jerusalem) and where Isaac built the well. It was in Be’er Sheva that Jacob was praying by the altar of his grandfather Abraham and father Isaac, looking for God’s guidance, and is where God spoke to him. Be’er Sheva is also where Jacob first left for Egypt.
This is a city overflowing with profound biblical history and prophetic promises. Now is the time to reopen its ancient wells of blessing and salvation, preach the gospel, and see water streams fill up and flow once again in the Negev desert, a place God holds so dear to His heart.
You have a unique opportunity to bless Israel with your financial gift and to give towards the salvation of Israel!
If evangelism, preaching the gospel, and salvation are things that God stirs in your heart, then this is the project you want to support and become a part of. Any seed sown into this project will bear the precious fruit of salvation.
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
