Beyond Borders and Backgrounds

Beyond Borders and Backgrounds

When one part of the family hurts, we all feel it. God calls us to respond accordingly. This is what it means to be part of the body of the Messiah. As it says in Corinthians:

If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.

1 Corinthians 12:26

Bold Love

The Druze community transcends borders and has a presence in multiple nations, including Israel and Syria. This faith includes elements from Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, and ancient Greek philosophy. The Druze in Israel are very immersed in Israeli culture and serve in the IDF. Historically, Israel has been very supportive of this Syrian group, so when Voice of Judah Israel heard of their need, our ministry had to respond. Showing this community the love of God is both an opportunity and a privilege.

With your help, we were able to do just that.

The Druze community in southern Syria is caught in the chaos of violence and instability as they face persecution, extreme poverty, with a growing humanitarian crisis. The Israeli Druze came to our ministry brokenhearted for the suffering of their loved ones in their country. VOJI couldn’t ignore their cries for help. This is the kind of love we’re called to show as followers of Yeshua – a love that doesn’t stay safe or quiet. This love acts boldly and reaches out across barriers, borders and backgrounds.

Voice of Hope

With your partnership, VOJI delivered 300 boxes of aid desperately needed in Syria to this community. Though we may differ in religious beliefs, this is still an opportunity to show them that they are seen and cared for. The families have received the supplies and our ministry’s message of love behind it. They have responded with overwhelming gratitude, not just for the physical help, but for the simple fact that someone reached across the border to help.

Through your faithful giving and prayers, you are part of something bigger than yourself – something eternal. For the Syrian Druze community, you helped bring hope to people desperately needing it. The bond Israel has with this population is a deep connection through shared struggle and mutual honor. VOJI will continue to be a light and comfort in dark places.

Together, we are a voice of hope – not only in Israel, but beyond the borders. Let’s be the hands and feet of Yeshua in a world desperate to see His love in action.
