The Russian missile that tore through Lea’s Ukrainian neighborhood had left her with more than just physical destruction. It had shattered her sense of security, identity and belonging. Seeking a new life, Lea turned to her ancestral roots, making the prophetic journey to Israel as a Jewish immigrant. Yet, as she navigated the unfamiliar streets of her new homeland, Lea couldn’t shake off the feeling of displacement, her dreams of renewal hindered by the harsh realities of cultural adjustment, language barriers and the haunting memories of what she left behind. Lea carried the broken pieces of her past with her when she moved to the Holy Land.
