Living in Israel poses unique spiritual challenges for followers of Yeshua. Believers in may face harassment, intimidation, or persecution from various groups. Many Jewish communities may view Messianic believers as outsiders or heretics, leading to strained family and community relationships. That is why is it is so imperative that they not only hear the word, but also learn to understand and apply it their lives. The seed must be watered and tended to grow into a strong tree.
One of our greatest joys is seeing Israelis encounter the living God but one of our greatest responsibilities is to help them grow strong in their new faith. Every month, hundreds of Israelis hear the Gospel through our events and one-on-one conversations. Many respond favorably, with open hearts, praying the prayer of salvation and beginning their journey with God. However, others have shown a genuine interest in learning more about Yeshua but are still on the fence. We often have but a small window to reach them and help them discover the truth that leads to freedom and life everlasting.
At this crucial stage, it is vital to help them understand the Word of God and surrender their lives to God. Discipleship provides new believers with the support and guidance they need to stand firm in their faith. Discipled believers are more equipped to share their faith with others, contributing to the spread of the gospel in Israel and beyond.
That’s why we are launching our Evangelism and Discipleship Course. This special series is designed to lay a solid foundation of faith for those who are seeking, or who have recently come to know Yeshua through our evangelistic outreaches and follow-up ministry.
Led by our pastoral and evangelism team, we will teach them to build daily habits of prayer and fellowship, helping them grow as disciples who can stand firm and share their faith with others. These sessions will focus on:
- Understanding the foundations of the Gospel
- How to study and apply the Word of God
- Developing a personal relationship with Yeshua
- Walking in the power of the Holy Spirit
- Living as a light and witness in Israel
Through this course, we believe many lives will be transformed, and a new generation of Israeli believers will be equipped to stand firm in their faith and share it with others.
We’re inviting YOU, our global family of partners to pray and support this new initiative. Your prayers are crucial — covering our teachers as they follow the Holy Spirit’s leading, and the participants as they study and grow in faith.
Your support also helps provide materials, Bibles, and refreshments for each session, enabling us to welcome every participant freely and with excellence. We want to ensure that every person who seeks or says “yes” to Yeshua in Israel also finds a home where they can grow, be discipled, and become part of what God is doing in this land.
Thank you for partnering with VOJI to bring the Good News to the yet unreached of Israel. Your gifts help raise bold disciples in Israel, not just ordinary believers, but courageous witnesses who will carry the light of Yeshua to others!
