One of the greatest opportunities in ministry is investing in people before some of life’s most defining seasons begin. Throughout Scripture, we see God’s desire for faith to be passed from one generation to the next. Today in Israel, that calling carries a special urgency.
The young people sitting in our youth meetings today will soon become soldiers, university students, professionals, husbands and wives, parents, and leaders within Israeli society. The future of Israel will, in many ways, be shaped by the values, convictions, and beliefs they carry into adulthood. That is why investing in Israel’s next generation is one of the most strategic and important forms of ministry we can undertake.
In Israel, the transition from adolescence to adulthood happens quickly. One moment a young person is worshiping with friends, studying the Scriptures, and asking questions about God’s purpose for their life. Before long, they are standing at a military induction center, putting on an IDF uniform, and entering a season that will profoundly influence their future.
Military service is more than a national obligation. It becomes one of the most formative periods of a young person’s life. Character is tested. Friendships are forged. Worldviews are challenged. Important decisions are made that often shape the years that follow.
That is why the years before military service represent such a critical opportunity for discipleship.
Through our Summer Youth Discipleship, we are intentionally investing in young believers before they enter this important season. Once military service begins, schedules become demanding and opportunities for consistent discipleship often become more limited. The foundations established beforehand can make a lasting difference.
Our vision extends far beyond providing activities during summer vacation.
We want to see young Israelis develop a personal and vibrant relationship with Yeshua. We want them to understand God’s Word, discover their identity in Messiah, learn how to hear His voice, and gain the confidence to live out their faith boldly in every area of life.
Every year we watch God do remarkable things.
Young people arrive with questions about their future, uncertainty about the path ahead, and a desire to better understand God’s purpose for their lives. Through worship, prayer, Bible study, discipleship, mentorship, fellowship, outreach opportunities, and leadership development, they begin to grow in both faith and maturity.
Over time, confidence replaces uncertainty. Friendships are formed with other young believers who share their faith and values. Young men and women begin to recognize God’s calling on their lives and develop a deeper understanding of what it means to follow Yeshua faithfully in today’s world.
Participants spend time studying Scripture, serving others through practical outreach projects, exploring the biblical significance of the Land of Israel, and learning leadership principles that will help them for years to come. Most importantly, they learn how to build a faith that can endure pressure, overcome challenges, and remain strong in the face of adversity.
The need for this investment has never been greater.
Today’s Israeli youth are growing up during a period marked by war, uncertainty, social pressures, and rapid cultural change. Before long, many will enter military service, university life, and professional careers where their beliefs will be tested in new ways.
The question is not whether something will influence their future. The question is what will influence it first.
Scripture reminds us:
“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth.”
Ecclesiastes 12:1
Those words carry tremendous significance today. The spiritual foundations established during youth often shape the direction of an entire lifetime.
This summer, we are preparing to invest in approximately thirty young people through our Summer Youth Discipleship. The total cost of the program is approximately $13,300 and includes discipleship, leadership development, worship gatherings, outreach opportunities, educational activities, mentorship, and fellowship throughout the summer.
For approximately $445, one young person can participate in the entire program. Yet behind every sponsorship is a life with tremendous potential.
It may be a future soldier learning to trust God before entering military service. A future university student preparing to stand firm in biblical convictions. A future parent raising the next generation. A future congregational leader, evangelist, teacher, or faithful witness for Yeshua.
The seeds planted during these formative years can bear fruit for decades to come.
When you invest in our Summer Youth Discipleship program, you are doing far more than supporting a summer program. You are helping raise a generation of young Jewish believers who know Yeshua, love God’s Word, and are prepared to carry the light of the Gospel into every sphere of Israeli society.
Together, we can help equip Israel’s next generation to stand strong in their faith, walk boldly with the Lord, and become a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness to their generation.
The time to invest in Israel’s next generation is now.
