Coming Back For More
Despite Irina’s demands, raising three children on her own, she kept coming back to our meetings for more. Something kept her showing up and hungering for more – more answers to her honest questions, seeking encouragement, and desiring our ministry team to walk alongside her. Your partnership with us made this all possible.
Seeking Answers
Irina is in her 40s and has lived in Israel for many years. Like many others our team encounters, she carries the daily weight of responsibility that never really pauses. Over the years, the complicated life she was living filled her with questions she didn’t know how to answer. Our team invited Irina into a space where she could explore faith honestly and be heard. She was at first quite skeptical, especially of our discipleship course. The quiet pull stirred inside her enough to keep coming back. Week after week, despite her demanding schedule and real pressure at home, she kept showing up. She understood that her seeking peace and finding answers would make her a better mom. She found answers, community, and trust in our ministry team.
Never Alone
Scripture tells us, “Those who seek Me diligently will find Me” (Proverbs 8:17). That promise proved true for Irina. What began as cautious curiosity slowly turned into a real spiritual hunger. Irina stayed through the entire discipleship course, and toward the end, during a teaching on the Holy Spirit, God met her in a deeply personal way. She was overwhelmed with joy, filled with God’s presence, and to her own surprise, began to pray in the Spirit. As the tears fell, Irina was filled with joy and pure awe.
In that moment, she knew beyond doubt that Yeshua is real, present, and actively involved in her life. She received Him as her Lord and Savior. Just as Yeshua promised, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you” (Acts 1:8). Today, Irina continues forward with renewed hope, joy, and strength. Her circumstances remain difficult, and the responsibilities of being a mother remain, but she is no longer walking the road alone. She has our ministry, and most importantly, she has Yeshua in her heart.
Your Partnership Changes Lives
Irina is one of many whose lives are eternally changed through our ministry’s follow-up team care and our discipleship programming. Your support of VOJI helps us reach and walk alongside Israelis just like her. When you give, you help create space for courses, materials, follow-up, and the people who invest their time and care into these lives. Please lift up our discipleship ministry and our team, as well as the many who seek answers the Lord can give. Pray for the seekers to keep coming back for more, just as Irina did.
Discipleship is such an important part of our ministry, and through you, we are seeing lives changed and eternities secured every day. If Irina’s story has touched your heart, we invite you to stand with us by being a prayer and financial partner. A gift of any amount can help provide the gift lost Israelis are searching for. Together, we can help more hearts move from hunger to faith, and from questions to a living relationship with Yeshua as Savior and Lord.
