Israel is currently facing a perfect storm of sweltering heat and relentless attacks from Iran. While Israel targeted nuclear threats in Iran, the counterstrike is against so much of the Holy Land and innocent civilians. Israel’s bomb shelters, initially designed for temporary refuge, are now being used as long-term shelters due to the constant barrage. This prolonged use poses significant challenges, particularly given the intense heat and humidity, making living conditions uncomfortable for those seeking safety within.
War Aid Project
For the most vulnerable, the elderly and young Israeli families, the conditions are even more challenging. For example, many of these older Israelis suffer from heart conditions, making a ventilated and cool environment not just a matter of comfort, but of survival. You can change this heartbreaking circumstance and possibly even save lives by supporting Voice of Judah Israel. Our ministry is providing much-needed relief through our War Aid Project. While this time is terrifying for so many, whatever we can do to provide a little comfort and care is so appreciated by those we serve.
Anything you can contribute will help Israelis experience this horrible time with a little bit of comfort. A single fan can bring some desperate relief to an entire shelter, while an AC unit can completely transform the environment. Our goal is 100 electric fans and 50 portable AC units to make the shelters safer and more livable for those who have to temporarily call the shelter ‘home’. The fans cost almost $27 each, and the AC units almost $350 each.
The total we need to raise for this project is a little over $20,000.
