Be a Vessel
Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) is a time of celebrating the fall harvest and the works of our hands. It’s emphasis is on the importance of sharing the great joy of the Lord. This should be a time to experience that very joy, however, for many of the poor and desperate in Israel, it is anything but a cheerful time.
Feast of Tabernacles is being celebrated all across Israel, with thousands of tabernacles or tents adorning every street, as well as families gathering to have their meals together in the “sukkah.” It is a very festive time when families join together to share in the joy of the Lord’s promises and deliverance. God’s blessings are being repeated and prayers of thanksgiving are being said throughout the land.
You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
2 Corinthians 9:11
God’s word is clear! We are blessed so that we might bless others. When we open our hearts to the love He has for His people, we become the “one” family He intended us to be. What we do for others, it is as if we are doing it for Him.
We want to be a vessel of God’s goodness and share with those in need. This is the time of harvest when we can take care of the poor, so they can experience the Feast of Tabernacles as it should be experienced; with great joy.
Join us in showing love to these families in need during Sukkot to release God’s blessing where it is most needed. Be the vessel that God works through to impact others.
Give TODAY, while we pray that God will also release His mighty blessing over your life.
Sukkot Same’ach! Happy Feast of Tabernacles!
