Echos of Exodus

Echo of Exodus

Who doesn’t like a good mystery? It’s fun to follow the plot and look for the trail of clues that will lead to that “Aha” moment. There’s something profoundly satisfying about peeling back the layers of a story to uncover the truth behind its motives.

Biblical Mysteries
The Bible is full of mysteries that showcases God’s sovereignty over history and time, reminding us that He is in control of both the past and the future. God’s appointed feast day of Yom Teruah or Feast of Trumpets is one of those mysteries.

The Bible, often referred to as God’s Word, is not just a collection of ancient texts; it is a profound tapestry woven with mysteries that beckon readers to delve deeper. From the prophecies of the Old Testament to the revelations of the New Testament, God’s Word is a treasure trove of insights waiting to be uncovered. These mysteries often serve as a bridge, linking historical events with future promises.

The Unveiling
One of the most striking aspects of the Bible is its prophetic nature. The Old Testament is rich with prophecies that foreshadow the coming of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. For instance,

Isaiah 9:6 prophesies the birth of a child who will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  Might the Feast of Trumpets or Yom Teruah be a foreshadowing of an event that both Christians and Jews alike are watching and waiting for, the Return of the Messiah?

Dive deeply into this mystery as Pastor Israel takes you on a journey through the story of Exodus to reveal the clues of this feast day and its prophetic message for the future.

Paul, the Apostle, had a deep longing to unveil the mysteries of salvation to his Jewish brothers and sisters, a longing we all should share. VOJI ministries are dedicated to Paul’s vision to see the Gospel brought back to the place where it all began.
