Everything to Everyone

In a world where women are often expected to juggle multiple roles and responsibilities, the women of Israel stand out for their resilience and strength in the face of adversity. From managing households and families to pursuing careers and supporting their husbands while away at war, they have proven time and time again that they are capable of overcoming any challenge that comes their way.

Countless Responsibilities
It may seem as though women are called to be everything to everyone, all at once. Israeli ladies have had to live out the very definition of this. With their husbands away and called to defend their country, the women are left at home to hold down the fort. Many take care of young children, work and continue their education and have been forced to live as though they are single moms even though they are not. They do this all while worrying about the safety of their husbands.

God has given them this supernatural ability to carry this heavy load and a resilience to remain standing when these challenges could knock them down. They make it seem easy, but their resilience has been put to the test repeatedly this past year.

“Healing the Soul”
Beit Hallel took the opportunity recently to remind these ladies: We see you. We thank you. We haven’t forgotten what you’ve been asked to do. The Ashkelon “Healing the Soul” conference was this perfect environment for these  to gather to encourage one another and to be celebrated for who they are. This served as a gentle spiritual embrace from the Lord to strengthen them in their faith.

Over 100 Israeli women from all walks of life were united by the trying circumstances they’ve had to endure. Each woman was encouraged in that she is not alone in carrying such a heavy burden. The conference was an encouraging reminder that they have a reliable support in each other and in Yeshua.
