Neta faces an upcoming surgery after her recent cancer diagnosis. The Presence of the Lord
As a first-time visitor, Neta attended this gathering with a friend who invited her. Our team and attendees gathered to share and encourage one another; the conversation turned to the power of prayer. When asked if she had any prayer requests, Neta opened up about her recent cancer diagnosis and upcoming surgery.
The weight of her situation was palpable, but so was the presence of the Lord in that moment.
Helena, a VOJI team volunteer, shared the good news of Yeshua with Neta, along with her own testimony of how God brought healing into her own life. When asked if she believed God could heal her, Neta felt conviction in her heart that He could indeed save her. Helena explained the sacrifice and salvation through the Messiah and invited Neta to pray for repentance. In that moment, she accepted Yeshua into her heart. Since that day, she has been reading the Bible and growing in her faith. As she prepares for her surgery, Neta has also asked for our continued prayer support, and we’re standing with her every step of the way.
A Tool of the Lord
Neta’s story is a beautiful reminder of the mission of VOJI – to share the love of Yeshua, offer hope in the midst of trials and to walk alongside one another in faith.
