We live in a time when the world is being shaken by all kinds of tumultuous and unprecedented events that are testing the resolve and faith of believers worldwide. However, as we keep our eyes fixed on Yeshua, the author, and finisher of our faith, we are reminded that He remains our one and only hope in this world—everlasting, almighty, and faithful to His Word.
One of the most powerful prophecies God released in the days of old is unfolding before our very eyes, a vivid reminder that God’s Word can never be shaken.
See, I will bring them from the land of the North. And gather them from the ends of the earth. Among them will be the blind and the lame, expectant mothers and women in labor; a great throng will return. They will come with weeping; they will pray as I bring them back.
Jeremiah 31:8-9
Currently, multitudes of Jews are making aliya (homecoming) to their ancient homeland of Israel, from the “North, the former Soviet Republics like Ukraine and Russia. Events unfolding there have caused a stirring of the Jewish people, and a massive new exodus to Israel is taking place.
Here at Beit Hallel, we have been receiving these dear ones with open arms, aiding hundreds of refugees and Jewish immigrant families every month, and aiding them with food supplies, furniture, clothing, and household appliances to give them a head start as they begin their new lives in Israel.
Because of the help of our partners like you, we were able to aid more than 500 additional families during Pesach (Passover) with food hampers to make their holiday celebration extra special, according to Jewish tradition. Seeing the joy and relief on their faces as they received these much-needed food bags was remarkable. We realized it was more than just food to them; it was the love and presence of Yeshua that touched their hearts to the core.
Alex, a new immigrant from Ukraine, shared with us afterward that he, his wife, and their children had no idea what to expect when they moved to Israel. They were desperate to escape the war in Ukraine and had no contacts in Israel, but they made the move in faith. They miraculously found Beit Hallel online and reached out for help.
We responded immediately and invited them to attend our various projects to receive help in getting settled in Israel. With tears in his eyes, Alex expressed his thankfulness that not only had they found practical aid through us, but they also found a loving family on whose shoulders they could cry and who would support them all the way.
That’s why we appreciate our AMAZING partners like you—you are making a real difference that can be felt in the hearts and lives of the people we help! Hallelujah!
