Future Investment

The growth at Voice of Judah Israel’s Beit Hallel ministry is remarkable. More Israelis are discovering the love of Yeshua every day! This surge brings both joy and challenges. With increased interest comes a variety of spiritual and practical needs. We have an opportunity to continue exponential growth, but we need your HELP. We can’t meet the needs of this significant influx of Israelis without practical help and increased space to do so. VOJI is in a place to reach more people than ever. It really is a good problem to have, and we need Christian friends like you to grow what God’s hands are clearly on.

One of the best ways for us to reach more Israelis is by renovating the Ashdod bomb shelter. Even though that’s what this space is logistically intended for during times of war, it has become so much more. With growth in every aspect of our ministry in Israel, the youth are in dire need of having a place to meet. The Israeli youth play a significant role as they are the future and our investment in them reflects that.

Expanding Opportunities
Our youth meetings have always been a cornerstone of Beit Hallel. As we look to the future and our investment in the youth, it is essential we expand a physical space to accommodate our growing numbers. The new space will allow us to:

1. Host Larger Groups: With more room, we can welcome more youth, ensuring everyone will be able to enjoy the services and meetings with safety.
2. Offer Diverse Activities: From worship sessions to discussion groups, the additional space allows us to diversify our programming.
3. Provide Youth-Led Initiatives: Empowering youth to organize their events fosters mentorship and leadership we encourage for the next generation leaders.

At present, we lack a dedicated and permanent space for the youth meetings, which is crucial for the development and expansion of this ministry area. The renovation of the bomb shelter is necessitated by the tremendous influx of families making Aliyah (immigration) from other countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Ethiopia and Crimea. Jewish people returning to the land God set for them is Biblically prophetic. We are thrilled to see this unfold before our eyes, but with such tremendous growth comes the growing need to manage it.

Youth Center Investment
Phase One has included the demolition of walls, removal and replacement of ceilings and flooring, a complete electrical and plumbing overhaul as well as HVAC removal. We now look to Phase Two will really bring to life what this space can be – a modern youth center and a safe location for the congregation to seek refuge during the dreaded missile sirens. The estimated budget to make this youth center a reality comes to $67,433 and includes everything from sound equipment and instruments to a new and necessary HVAC unit. We can’t wait until the Beit Hallel youth can make this home for everything they need to worship and learn the Word of God.

With Shabbat services and humanitarian outreach events in our principal location adjacent to this shelter, it will provide the necessary safe haven when the sirens sound. They are, after all, the future of Israel. With your help right now, we have the opportunity to continue this trajectory of growth to invest in this generation for today, tomorrow and into eternity.
