When Yeshua ministered on earth, signs and wonders always followed Him. One of the most important signs distinguishing His disciples and believers in His name from others is they would do even greater works than Yeshua did. In late June, an extraordinary event took place at our women’s conference that was a testimony that this verse is still true today. Miracles are still happening today!
Word of Mouth
Neta first heard about VOJI’s work at the Beit Hallel Congregation through her dear friend Christina, who has lived in our neighboring town of Ashkelon for 27 years. She had often received humanitarian aid from our ministry team in the form of food baskets, new clothing, and furniture. She spoke highly to her friend of the love and support she had felt at her visits with us. Christina had discovered a supportive family at Beit Hallel who genuinely showed concern for her welfare, making her feel valued and loved. She explained that through their character, the message they shared, and the demonstration of God’s love, they had helped her find salvation, consolation, and peace in Yeshua. Her life has not been the same since!
This was exactly what Neta needed to hear! Lately, she had been longing to know God’s peace and the eternal hope of salvation. When Christina invited her to join her for the monthly women’s meeting at Beit Hallel the following week, she eagerly accepted. At the women’s meeting, Neta heard the Gospel message for the first time and learned about the role Yeshua fulfilled as the Lamb of God. She finally understood He was the Messiah! Only by faith in Him could she be saved and spend eternity in God’s presence.
