There is something incredibly encouraging about watching young people move beyond simply learning about God to building a relationship with Him for themselves.
That is exactly what we have been witnessing this summer through our Summer Youth Discipleship Project in Israel.
Without anyone prompting them, many of the teenagers have begun praying out loud. They are thanking the Lord, praying sincerely for one another, and bringing before Him the needs of their families and friends. Others arrive excited to share something they discovered while reading the Bible during the week.
Questions that once remained unspoken are now becoming heartfelt conversations: “Why did Yeshua say this?” “What does this passage teach us?” “How can I hear God’s voice?”
These may seem like ordinary moments, but they point to something extraordinary.

Just a few weeks ago, many of these same young people quietly listened as leaders opened the Scriptures, shared what God was teaching them, and prayed together. Some were curious. Others were still learning how to express their own faith. Like many young believers, they were discovering not only who God is, but what it means to know Him personally. Now we are seeing their faith take root.
Every sincere prayer, every honest question, every Bible verse remembered, and every conversation centered on God’s Word is evidence that the Holy Spirit is at work. These are the moments that will outlast the summer. They mark the beginning of a faith that is no longer borrowed from parents, youth leaders, or friends, but is becoming their own.
Week after week, we are watching these teenagers discover that following Yeshua is about far more than attending meetings or gaining biblical knowledge. It is about walking with Him each day. Through Bible studies, small groups, worship, retreats, opportunities to serve others, and meaningful relationships with godly mentors, the Lord is shaping their hearts and their character.

We are seeing them encourage one another, step forward to help without being asked, show greater compassion, and grow in their desire to reflect the love of the Messiah in their everyday lives. These are the quiet but unmistakable signs of genuine spiritual growth.
Paul encouraged believers to be “rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith” (Colossians 2:6–7). As we watch these young lives develop, we are seeing that Scripture come alive. God is planting seeds today that we believe will bear fruit for years—even generations—to come.
There is still one month remaining, and we are working to raise the final funds needed to complete this $13,300 Summer Youth Discipleship Project. Every meal shared, every Bible study, every small-group discussion, every retreat, every opportunity to serve, and every caring mentor is possible because faithful friends like you choose to invest in the next generation of believers in Israel. The spiritual growth we are celebrating today began because someone chose to plant a seed.

Would you prayerfully help us finish this summer strong?
Your gift will help continue nurturing the work God is already doing in these young hearts. Together, we are investing in far more than a summer project. We are helping raise a generation that knows the Lord personally, loves His Word, serves others with compassion, and will carry His light throughout Israel for years to come.
Thank you for standing with Voice of Judah Israel. Your prayers and faithful partnership are helping shape the next generation of believers in the land where the story of redemption began. Through your support, young lives are being rooted in God’s Word and growing into a lifelong faith in Yeshua.
