Happy 4th of July —
The Freedom That Lasts Forever!

As you gather with family and friends this Independence Day weekend, I want to send you my warmest greetings from Israel.

The Fourth of July is more than a national holiday. It is a celebration of freedom, gratitude, and the blessings that have been passed from one generation to the next. Throughout your nation’s history, countless men and women have sacrificed to preserve those freedoms, and we thank God for the heritage they have left behind.

Here in Israel, we understand that freedom is precious. It is never something to take for granted. Every generation learns the importance of protecting it, praying for it, and using it wisely. That is one of the reasons we feel such a deep connection with so many believers across America. For decades, you have used the freedoms God has given you to share the Gospel, care for those in need, and faithfully stand with Israel.

On behalf of all of us at Voice of Judah Israel, thank you.

Thank you for your prayers. Thank you for your friendship. Thank you for standing with us as we proclaim the hope of Yeshua throughout Israel. Your partnership has helped strengthen believers, reach those searching for truth, care for families in need, and remind people across this land that God has not forgotten them.

Although thousands of miles separate us, we are united as one family in Messiah.

As wonderful as political freedom is—and it truly is—we are reminded that there is an even greater freedom available to every person.

Yeshua said,

“If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

John 8:36

That freedom cannot be given by any government or taken away by any circumstance. It is the freedom of forgiveness, new life, and the unshakable hope that comes through a relationship with Him. It is a freedom that changes hearts today and gives us confidence for eternity.

My prayer for you this Independence Day is simple. May you continue using the freedoms God has entrusted to you to glorify Him. Be a light in your family. Be a light in your church. Be a light in your community. And may the Lord continue to use you to bless others and advance His Kingdom wherever He leads you.

As we celebrate with you from Israel, we thank God for the friendship He has built between our nations and, even more importantly, between His people. That friendship is rooted not in politics, but in our shared faith in Yeshua and our confidence in God’s unchanging Word.

May the Lord richly bless you and your family this Independence Day. May He strengthen your faith, guide your steps, and continue to pour out His favor upon America. Thank you for faithfully standing with Israel and for serving alongside us as we share the hope of Messiah in this land.

Happy Independence Day!

With much love and gratitude from Israel,
Pastor Israel Pochtar
