He Died For You, Too

“I believe He died… but not for me. I’m not worthy of His love.”

That heartbreaking confession opened the door to something Holy. In that moment, Lena, our Voice of Judah Israel team member didn’t argue or try to persuade Olga otherwise. She simply shared the truth of the Gospel. She didn’t explain it as a concept or set of rules, but as the person of Yeshua. He’s the one who sees our shame and doesn’t turn away. He’s the one who took our sin, pain and unworthiness to the cross, and still calls us beloved.

Deeper Wounds Healed

As the truth settled in her heart, something shifted. The lies that had weighed her down for years, that she was unworthy and invisible to God, began to break. Olga met Lena at one of our recent evangelistic gatherings in Jerusalem. She was weighed down by chronic pain that afflicted her whole body for over a year and a half. It was apparent her emotional and spiritual well-being had taken a toll, too, as the doctors couldn’t pinpoint the cause of her pain. When modern medicine failed to bring her any relief, she came to our ministry desperate for prayer.

She didn’t expect much but longed for a flicker of hope.

Olga approached Lena after our ministry’s meeting. Lena asked Olga if she believed in Yeshua and that is when she answered in a trembling voice that she believed He died – just not for her. Through the conversation with Lena, her heart shifted. She prayed for repentance and surrendered her life to Yeshua. It was a raw, real moment. She looked up, visibly shocked, and quietly said her pain was completely gone. The affliction that had tormented her for so long had simply vanished. This encounter was not just for physical healing but also a deep, spiritual breakthrough. The Lord touched her body while also working on restoring her soul and healing wounds far deeper than anyone could see.

Gifts of His Grace, Mercy and Salvation

Olga’s story is just one among many. Every week, VOJI is front row for the work God is doing through our ministry in Israel. People are meeting Yeshua and experiencing His life-changing grace and mercy. You can join us for this important work. Lift up Olga and others like her who are stepping into faith, some for the very first time. Pray for deep roots, lasting freedom and growing hunger for the Word. Invest in our ministry so we are equipped with important resources for our discipleship ministry and ready to meet people where they are.

Please lift up our ministry team.

They are faithfully serving and sharing the Good News to those desperately seeking Him – to people just like Olga. They are standing in the gap, walking with people from brokenness into belonging, from fear into faith and from answering questions into the arms of the Savior. Our ministry is sharing His grace, mercy and gift of salvation so someone like she knows after having doubt… “He died for you, too, Olga.”
