Hidden By the Blood

Hidden By the Blood

Pastor Israel Pochtar explains Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread and it’s timing.

It’s Passover week in Israel! The people are gathering together to celebrate, singing ancient songs from the Psalms and sharing the history of God’s miraculous deliverance from slavery into freedom.  As they recite the timeless saga of plagues and the blood that saved, most are unaware of the prophetic message of the True Lamb of God, Yeshua, hidden in this amazing story of salvation.

The Parallel

The account of the Passover story in the Old Testament tells of God’s physical deliverance for the Hebrews from the bondage of slavery, hiding them from death by the blood of the lamb. The New Testament has a similar theme. Yeshua, sent by His Father, came to spiritually deliver us from the death of our sins, hiding us once again, under the blood of The Lamb.

The parallel between the two narratives highlights the premise of freedom and redemption that connects Jews and Christians. This creates a powerful opportunity to share the message of Yeshua, The Lamb of God.

The day of Yeshua’s return draws closer, and we must bring the truth and the light to Israel now. If not us, then who, and If not now, then when?
