Hidden Comfort in Joy

Voice of Judah Israel recently had the joy of hosting a special women’s gathering, which brought together nearly 80 women from different walks of life. The event was centered around the theme of joy; a timely reminder that God’s joy is not based on circumstances, but is a gift, strength and breakthrough waiting to be embraced. Ongoing support of VOJI invests in Israelis we minister to, so we thank you for making an impact on the lives of these women who found the joy of the Lord.

A Word That Ministers Deeply
This joyful gathering featured a heartfelt message from Angela, the wife of one of our pastors. She shared her personal experience of choosing joy in difficult times. With vulnerability and conviction, she reminded the women that even in their darkest seasons, the Lord calls them to rejoice – not as a denial of pain, but as a declaration of trust. She explained how choosing joy, even when it felt unnatural, opened the door to spiritual breakthroughs and renewed strength.

A Touching Testimony
God used this event to reach every woman there in the unique way she needed. Many had never attended a gathering like this and were invited through our recent ministry initiatives. Tamara is one of the women who had never been to our ministry before. She had been carrying a heavy burden, having lost her son-in-law in February and caring for her grieving daughter ever since. Despite initial hesitation, she found comfort, love and

prayers that touched her heart. By the end of the night, tears had given way to a gentle smile. She even asked how to join a home group, wanting to stay connected and come back again

Around the room, other women shared similar testimonies of encouragement, healing and spiritual refreshment. Many could be seen nodding in agreement, some wiping away tears, while others simply soaked in the encouragement they longed for. With your partnership, the Lord used VOJI to fill a void for these Israeli women.

A Creative Expression of Joy
Women crafted heart-shaped keepsakes, decorating them with bright colors, textures and symbols that reflected the joy, beauty and restoration God brings into their lives. As they worked, the room was filled with conversation and quiet reflection. The women attending experienced encouragement and laughter.

This time dedicated to Israeli women created a safe space for them to thrive, share stories, as well as find encouragement, healing and spiritual refreshment. Many said they felt seen, heard and strengthened in a way they hadn’t felt in a long time. These gatherings are more than just meetings – they are moments of ministry, restoration and deep connection with God and others. Thank you for your partnership and changing the lives of those we minister to. God is working through you when you sow into VOJI.
