There are Israelis who have lived their entire lives in the land of the Bible and have never once heard the Gospel clearly explained to them. They know Abraham, Moses, David, and the prophets. They live among the places where Yeshua walked and ministered. Many know His name, but only as the central figure of another religion—someone seemingly disconnected from the Jewish people and the Hebrew Scriptures. For many Israelis, no one has ever sat beside them, opened the Word of God, shared the Good News of Yeshua, and helped them discover that the Messiah we proclaim is the Jewish Messiah promised in their own Scriptures.
Paul understood this burden deeply. He wrote,
“My heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved.”
Romans 10:1
But Paul did not stop with prayer. A few verses later, he asked a series of questions that still confront us today:
“How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?”
Romans 10:14–15
Those words are especially meaningful to us as we prepare for a major evangelistic outreach during the Fall Feasts here in Israel. How will they hear?
They will hear because believers here in Israel are willing to go. Over many years of ministry, we have seen how God uses genuine relationships and simple acts of kindness to open doors that once seemed firmly closed. A friendship begins. Trust develops. Someone sees faith lived out before them. Then the questions come: Why do you believe? Who is Yeshua to you? Why do you have this hope? We cannot open anyone’s heart. Only God can do that. But we can sit beside someone. We can listen. We can love. We can answer their questions. And when God gives us the opportunity, we can tell them about Yeshua.
This Fall Feasts season, hundreds of Israelis will be invited to spend an entire day with us in the Galilee.
They will travel north together, share meals around tables, visit biblical places, and sail across the Sea of Galilee. Along the way, believers will share their testimonies, conversations about faith will unfold naturally, and our guests will have opportunities to open the Scriptures and discover the Jewish identity of Yeshua in the very land where so much of His ministry took place. Then, at the heart of the day, everyone will gather together. The Gospel will be preached clearly. Yeshua will be proclaimed openly. And hundreds of Israelis will have an opportunity to hear the Good News for themselves.
This is why Paul’s question feels so immediate to us: How shall they hear? They will hear because someone will sit beside them on a bus and share their faith. They will hear because testimonies will be shared over meals and the Scriptures will be opened. They will hear because the Gospel will be proclaimed. They will hear because someone was willing to go.
But Paul asks one more question: “And how shall they preach unless they are sent?” And this is where you can become part of what God is doing in Israel. You may live thousands of miles from the Galilee. You may never meet the Israeli who takes a seat on one of these buses. You may never sit across the table from them, hear their questions, or see their face as they hear the Gospel proclaimed.
But you can help send us to them.

Paul began Romans 10 with a prayer for Israel’s salvation. Then he showed us that prayer leads somewhere: people must hear, someone must tell them, and those who go must be sent. Today, from Israel, we are saying: We are ready to go. Will you help send us?
And as we go, speak, open the Scriptures, and proclaim Yeshua, together we will trust God to do what only He can do—open hearts and draw His people to Himself.
