Intentional Restoration

Emile and Guy are just two voices among many whose lives were drastically transformed. Their recent experiences at the Voice of Judah Israel youth retreat changed them from the inside out. Serving in the IDF comes with daily challenges. Stress, pressure, and uncertainty are constant companions. This time away offered them a chance to disconnect from those relentless struggles and rejuvenate in their faith journeys.

Renewed Hope Amidst War
Being able to unplug from daily reality allowed Emile and Guy to clear their minds. They were also filled up with God’s Word, prayer and fellowship without the distraction or heaviness of wartime. This opportunity to be recharged in faith will allow them to share the hope of Yeshua with other reservists more effectively upon their return to their IDF service.

Transformed Faith and Friendships
While Emile and Guy represent the youth at the retreat coming from IDF service, others attending will return to high school. Israeli young people are faced with many stresses in life regarding the war, safety of family members and concern for their own future. The intentional time away gave them a renewed sense of faith and hope during difficult times. Emily shared her calmed heart felt more at peace. 

Danny felt the experience helped strengthen his friendships with other young believers. Katya considered the retreat to be a special, sacred time with the Lord. Hannah really embraced the worship and fellowship, but perhaps most impactful for her was walking in the footsteps of Yeshua in the Galilee.

Regardless of who attended, the time in this sacred place provided a new sense of hope and fellowship. As the new school year begins, some of these young people will head back to high school while others will start their required military service with the IDF. For those already in the army, like Emile and Guy, the camp was a great reprieve before returning to their important duties.
