Knowing we were called “for such a time as this” – Upcoming Purim Celebration

Knowing we were called “for such a time as this” – Upcoming Purim Celebration

The Jews established and imposed it upon themselves and their descendants and all who would join them, that without fail they should celebrate these two days every year, according to the written instructions and according to the prescribed time.

Esther 9:27

The story of Purim and Queen Esther teaches us the importance of caring enough to intercede and stand in the gap, to help when you have the power to do so, and not hide from the suffering of others.

This is why helping our humanitarian projects is even more essential for us during this important biblical festival. That help carries a special message of love, that if a nation can be saved through one person’s brave actions, how much more can that love accomplish when we unite and come together to help those that have the least?

We want to ensure this coming Purim that we are able to bless the children in need with special gift packages. For a gift of $25, you can put a smile on a child’s face that has possibly seen more terror over the past year than we will see in our lifetime. Our goal is to bless as many children as possible and ensure Esther’s message of standing in the gap for her people touches and comforts their hearts.

Your generosity helps us make a real and tangible impact in these precious people’s lives. When you sow into our ministry, your gift goes a long way toward transforming lives and hearts for the Glory of God!

We were also approached by Ashdod City Hall and asked if we would be interested in putting on a musical about Purim with our drama club that meets every week at Beit Hallel.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to showcase the profound significance of Purim from a truly biblical perspective through our church members’ anointed work through BH’s drama club as well as giving back to our community.
