Our team had the pleasure of meeting with a group of Ukrainian refugees who had recently made aliyah. These people had been going through one of the roughest and darkest times in their lives and were facing the challenges of beginning a new life in a new county. Looking for hope, they were very open to hearing the Gospel and sharing their stories. That is where we met Marina.
Searching for answers, Marina shared with us that she had been diagnosed with cancer and now found herself at a crossroads in her life. She wanted to hear more about this Jesus we talked about.
We spent time talking with her, sharing about the power that resides in the name of Jesus and how during His ministry, He went about doing good and healing all those who were oppressed by the devil.
She shared with us that she harbored much unforgiveness in her heart. We encouraged her to lay it at the foot of the cross so that Jesus might take her burdens upon Himself. We ministered healing unto her and prayed for her perfect healing.
She then expressed a desire to know more about Jesus and what it meant to be a child of God. We promised to stay in contact to help her understand and presented her with her first Bible, which she was quite happy to receive. We also gave her a number of books from well-known Christian authors translated into Russian to help guide her on her path.
Please join us in prayer for Marina’s healing and salvation. We are believing that God will touch and heal both her body… and her heart. Amen!
