More Than a Gathering:
Building a Family of Faith in Israel

One of the greatest needs in today’s world is not simply information or resources—it is connection. Across Israel, many people are searching for genuine relationships, meaningful community, and a place where they can feel known, valued, and loved.

Through your partnership, Voice of Judah Israel continues to provide more than humanitarian assistance, discipleship, and outreach opportunities. Together, we are helping create a spiritual family where people can encounter God’s love through authentic relationships and Yeshua-centered community.

Recently, our Beit Hallel congregation in Israel hosted a special fellowship gathering for individuals who have received Yeshua as their Lord and Savior and have begun taking the next steps on their faith journey. Members of our follow-up team spent time connecting with new believers and seekers, sharing meals, praying together, encouraging one another, and building the kinds of relationships that help faith grow strong and lasting.

Pastor Israel also shared words of encouragement and prayed with those who attended, inviting them to continue growing in their walk with Yeshua. Many were also encouraged to join our “Follow Yeshua” discipleship course, where they can continue studying Scripture, asking questions, and developing a solid foundation for their faith.

While the gathering included food, fellowship, and meaningful conversations, one encounter captured the deeper significance of what God is doing through these relationships.

A couple named Lev and Miriam attended for the first time after receiving an invitation from one of our congregation families. Although they have lived in Israel for more than three decades, they had never participated in one of our gatherings before.

Throughout the afternoon, they met new friends, joined conversations, received prayer, and experienced the warmth and hospitality of a caring community. As they observed people encouraging one another, sharing their lives, and supporting one another in faith, something deeply impacted them.

What touched them most was not the event itself. It was the atmosphere of genuine love and unity they experienced among the people.

Before leaving, they shared that despite living in Israel for many years, they had rarely encountered a community where people cared for one another so sincerely. They asked to be invited to future gatherings because they wanted to continue experiencing this sense of friendship, belonging, and family.

Their response reminded us of an important reality. Many people are not only searching for answers—they are searching for a place to belong.

The early believers understood the importance of this kind of community. Scripture tells us:

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer… All the believers were together and had everything in common.”

Acts 2:42,44

That same spirit continues to transform lives today. When people encounter authentic friendship, sincere care, and a community centered on Yeshua, hearts often open in ways that programs alone cannot accomplish.

We are grateful for every opportunity God gives us to serve the people of Israel during this important season. Through discipleship, fellowship, prayer, and personal relationships, lives are being strengthened and people are discovering that they do not have to walk alone.

Thank you for making these moments possible. Your prayers and support help create places where faith can grow, friendships can flourish, and individuals and families can experience the love of God through a caring community of believers.
