Having received the final permits for the first-ever Christian-owned building in Ashdod is a remarkable victory for the Lord and a significant boost for God’s Kingdom in Israel! It not only lays the groundwork for a permanent sanctuary for God’s glory in Ashdod but also provides a foundation from which we can expand our humanitarian work, leverage the impact of our Gospel outreaches, and accommodate our growing membership base.
We are working full-steam to prepare the Lord’s sanctuary here in Ashdod. We are happy to announce that we have already been able to order the floor-to-ceiling windows for the auditorium, along with the casement windows for the foyer, staircase, and first floor. That’s $121,445 covered from the entire budget!
Next on the agenda is converting the first floor into a distribution warehouse to aid the poor. First, we are installing security barriers on the ground floor to secure delivered humanitarian aid. Next will be restoring and painting all walls and planning the construction and installation of the front stage. God is just so good, and the partners He has sent to financially support our efforts have been such a blessing.
This building and project are the Lord’s—not ours. We are submitted to His will and direction every step of the way. The resources, the favor, and the open doors are all made possible through His grace.
We still have quite a ways to go to complete the building process, but our trust is in Him. We believe He has already ordained the right people to collaborate with us on this mission.
