On a recent Thursday evening, Voice of Judah Israel team members surrounded Alon in prayer, crying out to the Lord for the salvation of his twin brother Leon. By that Saturday night, God had moved mountains and brought Leon to join his brother at a transformative prayer gathering with VOJI. The two young men stood together. It was beautiful, almost poetic. Only God could have orchestrated this divine moment.
Alon’s life was radically transformed by the Gospel.
Not long before this Prayer School, he gave his life to Yeshua at VOJI’s growing ministry in Jerusalem. God is doing a mighty work in this Holy City with the help of friends like you. Alon’s heart yearned for his twin brother to know the Lord like he has experienced. He has been sowing seeds of faith and sharing his testimony with his brother about the life-changing love of the Messiah.
God Moves Mountains
During this dedicated time of prayer that VOJI held, Alon was gleaning wisdom from a veteran intercessor, Suzette. She has a unique and anointed ability to teach and equip believers in the power of prayer and intercession. This led to the group praying for Leon and asking the Lord to remove every obstacle that stood in the way of his experiencing the Lord with them at this gathering. For quite some time, he was facing several serious issues, including the urgent need to find a tenant to take over his lease in Haifa. The day after the group prayed, God started to move the mountains. New tenants were suddenly found and his other challenges resolved.
On that Thursday, Leon was consumed with these challenges and had no intention of joining his brother at this Prayer School event. On Saturday, he stood at Alon’s side in the very place they all had prayed for him two nights prior. Though Leon hasn’t fully surrendered his life to the Lord, something has definitely shifted in his spirit. His skeptical heart is softened, and he’s now planning to move in with Alon in Jerusalem. Together, they will attend VOJI’s ministry regularly there. This is just the beginning of what God is doing in both of their lives.

Alon and Leon are just two of the many Israelis who attended VOJI’s Prayer School in Ashdod. This powerful three-day event started with 90 in attendance on that Thursday and grew to nearly 200 worshiping together Friday evening. This intentional prayer gathering changed lives and is one of the many ways our ministry impacts eternity.
