Preparing for God’s Work

Here’s an update on what is happening now and what you can do to help the Israeli people in their time of need.

Preparing for God’s Work

The Bible encourages constant and ongoing preparation by God’s people. The Old Testament is filled with stories of the importance of preparedness, from building an ark for rain that would wipe out most of mankind’s existence to storing up food for seven years in readiness for a famine. God often calls His people to action when times of great calamity are coming in order to protect them.

Imminent Threat
The situation in Israel is currently more critical than ever, with Iran and their proxies’ imminent threat. After ten months of war on several different fronts, She has been attacked from every possible direction. Citizens in the north are being displaced and evacuated as Hezbollah fires rockets ceaselessly at their communities. The government has recently issued a warning to the Israeli population, urging everyone to be prepared and ready for upcoming major attacks. This threat is very real and imminent.

“We need to be ready to help others in our communities to be adequately prepared. This means having sufficient bottled water, dry/canned food, generators, and medical supplies near our shelters. VOJI is blessed to have outstretched arms of loving friends like YOU! Your faithful friendship means so much to the Land of Israel at such a time as this.” -Pastor Israel Pochtar.  You are the watchmen, standing guard on the walls of our nation, fulfilling your calling to bless Israel, and your faithfulness in these times will echo in eternity.

What can YOU do to help?

WE NEED YOUR PRAYERS! Please pray for confusion in the enemy’s camp and God’s supernatural and miraculous protection over Israel and her people. The Lord has promised to intervene whenever She is attacked so that HIS name is glorified—not the army or government, only God’s name! Pray for the Lord to be glorified through His miraculous protection of Israel.

Your Turn
We are also calling you to ACTION! Currently, there are hundreds of Jewish families who recently made Aliyah and moved to Israel. Aside from the struggles of coming to a new place, they are faced with the terrible reality of war and uncertainty, not knowing what to expect next. VOJI is here to help them with food, provision, basic needs, and any possible essentials they might need at this critical time. We need to be well-equipped and prepared to avoid potential chaos and shortages when the actual attack takes place in order to help as many people as possible.

Our network of 120 volunteers are standing ready to operate and help in Ashdod, Ashkelon, Jerusalem, Be’er Sheva, Eilat and other cities and towns across the land. We are so very blessed to have these believers in the Land who are the “boots on the ground,” able to carry and distribute aid to those in need at a moment’s notice. We only need your prayers and support to carry out this mission to distribute hope and love to God’s people in this most desperate time of need.

Pray! Share this message with your network of prayer warriors who are willing to take up their calling as watchmen on the walls of our nation.

Give! Support our war relief project that will help provide hundreds of families with water, food and basic essentials during these critical days. No amount is too small.

Act! Any act of generosity is a strong proclamation that you stand with Israel, with God’s people and His eternal promises to His people.

It’s quite sobering to realize Biblical events and prophecies are taking place in our generation. We have solid promises we can stand on, that Israel will never be destroyed and God will be glorified in Israel’s victories over Her enemies. Our focus needs to be on Jesus, His Return, and His reigning Kingdom on earth. Help us to be ready for that glorious day by serving His Kingdom today!
