Reconciled in Jerusalem

Reconciled in Jerusalem

Only God could write this story! After being abandoned at birth and raised in foster homes in Ukraine, Naomi’s heart was yearning for closure. God revealed to her that her birth mother was Jewish, and this revelation changed everything! She was drawn to Jerusalem to meet her birth mother and the three brothers she didn’t know she had.

After meeting her biological family, she decided to make Aliyah (immigrate) with her husband and their five children to Jerusalem. God redeemed the lost time as she got to know her birth mother and solidified her Jewish heritage in the Land she felt called to. Since the family’s arrival a year ago, Naomi has been seeking to know God. Thankfully, He led her to Voice of Judah Israel’s Jerusalem Evangelism Campaign. She came to us with a desire to receive help and consolation.

Her Jewish understanding of God didn’t compare to the truth of His love for her. She thought she could keep the law and that would help her draw closer to Him. We were able to teach her about Yeshua as the Messiah, His death on the cross and His forgiveness of her sins. For the first time in her life, her eyes and heart were open to know the truth of the Gospel message. Naomi desires to grow in this new faith with her family and for them to trust Him with their lives. She also wants to stay in touch with Beit Hallel and attend future meetings with our  ministry in Jerusalem.

Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.  – Isaiah 43:18-19

Our amazing God is at work through VOJI in Jerusalem. We are fortunate enough to witness something absolutely prophetic and historic unfolding before our very eyes. God is blessing the new initiative efforts. At first, we didn’t comprehend this monumental task God put on our hearts, but as we read in the Bible, God is faithful to finish what He starts.

He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
– Philippians 1:6

Over the next few months, we will share with you how God is continuing to work in Jerusalem. We are believing Him to do a might work here, with the eventual goal of planting a congregation in the Holy City. This will allow us to serve the people in practical ways as well as sharing the love and truth of Yeshua. God is clearly up to something significant, so please be a part of this story He is writing. Partner with us in prayers and financial support to continue growing His work that He began!
