The Tradition
Passing on the traditions and celebrations of God’s commanded Feasts is an important part of Jewish Heritage. It is vital for preserving their cultural identity. These practices connect future generations to the roots of the past. They cultivate a feeling of ongoing legacy and tie people to their ancestral background by doing what the LORD commanded; REMEMBERING.

It is especially important for the youth in Israel today to understand the story of Passover. It is a saga unique to the Jewish people of God’s unfailing love and mercy. In this story, the Hebrew people had suffered the hardship of slavery under the rule of a ruthless Pharaoh. God heard their cries of suffering and took pity upon them. Jehovah miraculously delivered them from their bondage. In return, all He asked was for it to be remembered.

The Seder dinner is one of the key components of Passover. During this meal, participants retell the story of the Israelites’ deliverance from slavery in Egypt.

This tradition is a key element in passing down the history and values of the Jewish people from generation to generation. This dinner serves as a meaningful way to honor the past and celebrate the freedom and resilience of the Jewish community.

The Promise
There has been no better moment to tell this story to the youth of Israel than today. Over the Passover holiday, we invited our youth team and their families to share the Seder meal together with our teams. It was a beautiful time to share the story of God’s love and faithfulness to hear and deliver us from our trials—a promise that needs to be remembered in one of the most troublesome times in their young lives. Through this story of their history, they can find the promise of their future. The blood of the lamb that saved them yesterday, still saves today!

Thank you for partnering with us to help reach the youth in Israel. Because you care, we are reaching a whole generation of new believers to carry the hope to their people. Please continue to pray and support our youth leaders and pastors. You are sowing the seeds of the future harvest.
