We are sharing the Gospel message in a place deeply rooted in Israel’s history

YouTube Video

As believers, we are called to spread the Gospel to all nations and people. Have you ever considered the profound impact of sharing the message of Christ in the land of Israel during the sacred festival of Shavuot? This historic tradition, which is this week, holds deep Biblical significance and offers a unique opportunity to connect with the roots of our faith in a powerful way. You’ll want to follow this part of Voice of Judah Israel’s timely Shavuot evangelism event  in Israel.

The Holy Spirit
Historically speaking, two significant things happened during Shavuot. After Jesus rose from the grave, He told his disciples to wait for the gift the Father had promised (Acts 1:4). After obediently waiting 50 days, the disciples received the Holy Spirit in the Upper Room.

This pivotal moment in history not only transformed the disciples’ lives, but also laid the foundation for a powerful spiritual movement that continues to impact believers today. Receiving the Holy Spirit was meant for more than just the disciples. It was meant for every believer from that time to the present.

The Great Commission
Jesus told the disciples since His Father in Heaven had given Him all authority, that they (the disciples) would now have a responsibility to share the Good News. The events of Shavuot not only empowered the disciples to spread the message of Jesus to the ends of the earth, but also marked the birth of the Christian church.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19-20

By preaching the Gospel in Israel during Shavuot this week, we can share the most transformative message in a place deeply rooted in the history and traditions of our faith. Many Jewish immigrants new to Israel will hear the Gospel for the first time. Invest in VOJI today to ignite the spark that will bring revival to the Holy Land.
