We had the privilege of hosting more than 300 people for our special Rosh Hashanah celebration! Among those in attendance were Holocaust Survivors, New Jewish Immigrants, and Ukrainian Refugees. The Lord laid it on our hearts to bless these precious ones with the love and truth of Yeshua, as well as reconnect them with their Jewish roots with prophetic significance. We also distributed food and had an impressive performance from a professional dance troupe.
During the dance performance, smiles lit up all around the auditorium, and the people clapped their hands with some even dancing along! It was a moment in time for them to forget about their hardships, and to enjoy a celebration of their Jewishness. We hope that they felt and soaked in the presence and love of Yeshua. Many tears were shed as they received their holiday food hampers. Nearly every time we would bless a person, they would ask the question: “Why are you doing this?” This is when we allow Holy Spirit to speak through us, and for the love of Jesus to flow.
It was such a special opportunity for our leadership to spend time with these dear ones, by hearing their hearts and praying for their needs. To so many of these people, Beit Hallel isn’t just a place where they come to receive critical, humanitarian aid, but it’s a sanctuary where they are accepted and offered friendship. We love them with the unconditional love of Yeshua.
Due to the constant influx of new Jewish Immigrants and Ukrainian Refugees to Israel, these types of projects are ongoing initiatives at Beit Hallel.
