Saying “Yes” To Yeshua

“Is there something more to life?”

This question lingered at our discipleship gathering following a recent evangelism event. Our ministry intentionally connects with people who’ve surrendered their lives to Yeshua soon afterward. It’s important to start discipleship with those who say “Yes to Yeshua”—to come alongside them in their faith journey. When they make this commitment, the journey isn’t just the end of an old life, it’s really the beginning of a whole new kind of life.

At this recent discipleship class, three women came seeking to know God more. Maya, Irina and Tamar had their lives changed by attending our evangelism event. The discipleship class set the foundation for these ladies to continue in their faith. Their journey began with the evangelism event, but thanks to your support of our ministry prayerfully and financially, they will continue to grow closer to the Lord.

To Know God More

Watching a short film about Yeshua that explored meaning, purpose and faith was a catalyst to their interest to learn more. Conversations ensued about what it means to know God personally, to walk with Him daily and to feel His love in a real way. Maya, Irina and Tamar began to share their own questions and thoughts about eternity, peace, forgiveness and hope. Before anyone had even led them, they began speaking about wanting to know God more.

One of our team members, Miriam, joined them at their table and shared how Yeshua has been knocking on the door of their hearts, patiently waiting for them to open to Him. Then, in that tender moment, they were invited to respond. One by one, they said yes. All three prayed a prayer of repentance. Tears flowed, smiles broke through, and the atmosphere filled with peace and joy. Something eternal had taken place.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears My voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”

Revelation 3:20

God isn’t rushing them. He gently leads and our ministry has the honor to walk with them and guide them as they grow in faith and begin this new life in Yeshua.
