Seeds of Faith

Elena experienced the love of fellow believers and came to know Yeshua for herself all because of Voice of Judah Israel’s ministry in the Holy Land. God worked through you, our financial and prayer partners, to reach Elena with our events and women’s ministry. We take the Gospel to the Holy Land and get the honor of seeing God’s Hand in the ministry and the lives we touch.

A new immigrant to Israel, Elena first came across VOJI by attending one of our evangelism events with Beit Hallel. Her hesitancy was apparent at first, but over time the walls started to come down. Through relationship, listening, love, prayer and encouragement, our team connected with Elena on a deeper level. They invited her to our women’s meetings, where the Word of God began to take root in her heart.

Planted Seeds

Her transformation wasn’t immediate. Like a seed hidden in the soil, something began to take root and grow. Weeks passed, then months. One day, Elena quietly proclaimed that she wanted to attend our ministry’s congregation and to know God more. The seed had sprouted.

Our team continued this relationship and walked closely with her. They met, prayed and spoke about life and faith. Elena often asked for prayer for her grandson, a precious boy on the autism spectrum. Through those times of care and prayer, her heart softened more and more in the presence of the Holy Spirit. She asked for a Bible and began to read and her hunger for God grew stronger.

During one of our recent evangelism initiatives, Elena listened to the Gospel being preached with love and truth. With tear-filled eyes, the Word pierced her heart deeply. In this moment, she repented and surrendered her life to Yeshua. She believed that the moment she prayed, healing would begin – for her soul, for her body and for her grandson. We believe with her, trusting that

“He who began a good work in her will carry it on to completion.”

Philippians 1:6

God’s Growth

Elena’s story reminds us that discipleship is a journey. Some lives are transformed in an instant, while others bloom slowly through patience, love and prayer.

“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.”

1 Corinthians 3:6

She came to us through the love, truth and presence of the Holy Spirit through the care of those who never gave up on her. Her journey is just beginning. Please lift her up in prayer and to keep people beside her who remind her that Yeshua is faithful through every season of life. Don’t underestimate planting small seeds in lives around you. God will grow when you faithfully plant – just like sowing into our ministry. His Word never returns void. He will use you in the lives around you and in our ministry when you partner with us.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Galatians 6:9
