Sveta’s Testimony

Sveta is a Jewish immigrant from Ukraine, with a Ph.D. in Mathematical Science. She made aliyah to Israel in 2016, and never gave God much thought. She occasionally wondered if He existed, but it never went further.  Then one day, while she was studying Hebrew, she overheard her classmates mention the help they were getting at Beit Hallel Congregation and decided she needed to find out more.

She came to us looking for some practical help, which she began receiving monthly. She also began to join us on our Biblical Excursions and slowly became more interested in God. Eventually, she surrendered her heart to Jesus and decided to get baptized. At the baptism, she felt the presence of the Lord in a powerful way.

This encounter awoke a fresh passion for the Lord in her and she made the decision then to devote herself even more to Him. She is now part of our Beit Hallel Congregation, assisting regularly at homegroup meetings, and volunteering during our humanitarian projects. She continuously testifies to how thankful she is to have received the Lord through our outreach work and what a joy it is to walk in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus.
