The One True Well

Wells in Israel are more than just a source of water in the arid desert. They have a deep spiritual significance and are often associated with divine encounters with God. Throughout history, wells have played an important role in the lives of the people of Israel, from the Old Testament stories of Isaac and Jacob to the New Testament accounts of Jesus meeting the Samaritan woman at the well. Today, visitors to Israel can still experience the power and significance of these wells by visiting places like the ancient wells of Beersheva or the famous Jacob’s Well in Nablus. These sites offer a unique opportunity to connect with the rich spiritual heritage of Israel and to experience the presence of God in a truly profound way. Join us on a journey of discovery and experience the transformative power of these sacred wells for yourself.

Israel is filled with unique Biblical places, in fact, almost any place you visit has some deep connection to Biblical history. The city of Be’er Sheva is a great example of that. Referred to as the capital of the Negev desert, it is a large, modern city in the heart of the desert.

It is also home to an ancient well, Be’er Sheva (Abraham’s Well), which is Hebrew for the Well of Oath.

It is where Abraham stood to give his oath and where Isaac and Jacob built their altars of sacrifice to dedicate the Land to the Lord.

This is a perfect place for those that are longing and searching for more of Him. When we return to a place of great biblical significance and carry the Gospel there, God moves in a powerful way. We are anticipating God will do remarkable things at our next outreach on March 16, in Be’er Sheva.

Did you know that Yeshua, also known as Jesus, was and is Jewish? Shockingly, less than 1.9% of the population in Israel are aware of this fact. At VOJI, we believe that it is urgent to draw and share the living water of Yeshua with the lost sheep in Israel. That’s why we need your help in spreading the truth and bringing the Gospel message to all of Israel. By joining us, you can make a difference in reaching more people with the love and grace of Yeshua. We ask for your prayers and support in this mission. Together, let’s change the number and bring hope to those who need it most.

“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” John 7:37-38
