Imagine growing up in the land of the Bible, hearing the stories of Abraham, Moses, David, and the prophets—and yet never realizing that the story of Yeshua belongs within that same story.
For many Israelis, Yeshua is known primarily as the central figure of Christianity, someone associated with another religion, another culture, and other nations. His name may be familiar, but His Jewish identity, His place within the story of Israel, and the Good News of what He came to do may never have been personally explained to them.
This is what makes our upcoming Fall Feasts outreach in the Galilee so significant.
Through Voice of Judah Israel and our work together with Beit Hallel Congregation here in Israel, hundreds of Israelis will be invited to travel north for a day that will take them directly into the landscape of the Scriptures.
But we are not simply giving people a beautiful day in the Galilee. We are creating an opportunity for them to hear a story many may never have heard this way before: that Yeshua was born among the Jewish people, walked this land, fulfilled the words of the prophets, and came as the promised Messiah, bringing salvation to Israel and to the nations.
There is a beautiful moment in Luke 24 that captures something of what we are praying for.
Two disciples are walking toward Emmaus. They know the Scriptures, they know what has happened in Jerusalem, and they have even heard the reports about the empty tomb—yet they still cannot see how everything fits together.
Then Yeshua comes alongside them and begins to open the Word:
“Beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.”
Luke 24:27
Later they would say to one another,
“Did not our heart burn within us… while He opened the Scriptures to us?”
Luke 24:32
That picture speaks deeply to what we are preparing for in the Galilee. Our Israeli guests will travel through places they may already know as part of their own country and hear passages of Scripture they may have known since childhood. But this time, our team will have opportunities to sit with them, answer questions, share personal testimonies, and help them see how those familiar Scriptures point toward Yeshua.
Along the journey, around the tables, at biblical sites, and beside the Sea of Galilee, these conversations can happen naturally. Then, at the heart of the day, everyone will gather together for an evangelistic meeting where hundreds of Israelis will hear the Good News of Yeshua clearly proclaimed—some perhaps for the first time in their lives.
We cannot know what will happen in every heart, and perhaps that is one of the most beautiful parts of the Emmaus story. The disciples only realized afterward that something had already been happening within them while Yeshua opened the Scriptures.
In the same way, someone may board one of our buses simply expecting an enjoyable day in northern Israel.
A Scripture they have heard many times may suddenly sound different. Someone’s testimony may answer a question they have quietly carried for years, or a conversation beside the Sea of Galilee may challenge something they have always assumed about Yeshua.
And perhaps nothing visible will happen that day. But a question may travel home with them and continue working in their heart long after the journey is over.
This is why we do not measure the success of this outreach only by what we can immediately see. Our responsibility is to love people, create an environment where honest conversations can happen, open the Word of God, clearly proclaim Yeshua, and trust the Lord with everything that follows.
We cannot manufacture revelation or open someone’s heart ourselves. But we can make sure they have the opportunity to hear.

Our prayer is that something of Emmaus will happen again in hearts across Israel—not because we can make it happen, but because the same God who opened the Scriptures then is still able to open hearts today.
